At Roots of Connection Counseling, sessions are collaborative, grounding, and designed to help you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe, supported, and transformative.
I believe laughter is powerful. When something is ironic or beautifully human, we name it and let humor soften the edges. Healing doesn’t have to feel heavy every minute.
I also challenge patterns when they show up. If you’re avoiding, shrinking, or repeating an old cycle, I’ll reflect it with compassion and curiosity. Growth happens when we’re willing to look at what’s underneath.

My work is eclectic and intentionally flexible. No single modality fits every client, so I pull from a wide range of approaches and choose interventions based on what you need in the moment.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) — working with parts, inner conflict, and self‑leadership.
Somatic Experiencing & body‑based practices — supporting regulation, grounding, and nervous system awareness.
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) — building psychological flexibility, values‑based action, and mindful acceptance.
HAES (Health at Every Size) — promoting body respect, reducing shame, and supporting holistic well‑being without weight‑based judgment.
Expressive Arts Therapy — using imagery, movement, drawing, or metaphor when words fall short.
ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) — structured, evidence‑based support for OCD and avoidance patterns.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) — identifying and shifting unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
Solution‑Focused Therapy — clarifying goals and creating small, actionable steps forward.
The Gottman Method — practical tools for couples to strengthen communication and connection.
